I hope that everyone has an AMAZING summer holiday and remember to stay safe. Thank you for all your hard work this year and keep it up for Primary 5 – I’ll be seeing some of you there!
School reopens on the 19th August at 9am. The school day will be from 9.00-3.00 for ALL P1-7 pupils. Lunchtime for P1-3 will be at 12.15 – 1.30 and for P4-7 12.45-1.30.
Please remember that you need your PE kit and a pair of indoor shoes for starting back at school.
This week is set to be a good one! Here are a few reminders for you:
- ALL lost property will be bagged and either reused or donated to the Rag Bag Collection so please make sure your child checks for anything that belongs to them before the end of the day on Tuesday.
- Moving Up Afternoon will be held today. This is a chance for your child to spend some time with their teacher for next session. Look forward to hearing all about it after school!
- All parents, carers and family members are invited to join us in Crown Church at 9.30am for our Annual P7 Leaver’s Ceremony.
- School closes at 12.00. No lunch will be provided today.
As and end of term treat, we are hoping to take P4M to the park next Tuesday. It would be great if we could have some help from any available parents. Feel free to bring along little siblings!
Please get in touch via blog post or email: firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to help out.
Thanks in advance!
On Friday we visited Landmark for our Primary 4 class trip. We had a great time and all the children behaved very well, representing Crown in the way we would expect. A member of the public who was visiting Landmark, all the way from New Zealand, commented on how well behaved all the boys and girls were and how supportive they were of their team mates (especially Miss McNee when she was doing the Skydive). Well done everyone!
A huge thank you to all the teachers and parent helpers who came along!
On Monday, we will performing a song for all the parents that will be visiting the school for Open Afternoon. Over the weekend, could you please try to learn the song words that you will be given tomorrow. Also, because we have been learning about Bangladesh, it would be great if you could try and wear green and red on Monday! I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.
Today, 12 children from Primary 4 represented Crown at the Inverness Schools Tennis Competition. We were at Bellfield Park all morning, in the glorious sunshine. Both the A and the B team played every other school that was there. We had a great time and showed excellent sportsmanship throughout. Well done everyone!
