Outside Achievements

I am delighted that 2 children in the class (so far) have shared some of their outside achievements with the class and these have been added to their learning record. I would like to share with you a simple template that I have created for the children to use when reflecting on their achievements out-with school. The idea is that, if the template is completed in school, a copy will go in the learning record and a copy sent home and if it is completed at home, I would be very grateful if a copy could be brought into school to add to learning records/celebrating success wall. Alternatively, you can email it to me at gmcnee863@highlandschools.org.uk

Responsible Citizens

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge WELL DONE to Jake and Max who have been shown that they are very responsible citizens. To help raise money for our UNICEF, the boys have donated their own sweetie box to sell next Friday as well as putting together a “Guess how many sweeties are in the jar” competition. I am very proud of you boys and I look forward to trying to win the sweetie jar! WELL DONE!!

UNICEF Day for Change

Next Friday is UNICEF Day for Change and P4M are in charge of planning and delivering the day in school. We will be holding an assembly on Wednesday 5th February and you will receive a letter about that tomorrow. On Friday the 7th February we will be holding a Pyjama Day for the suggested donation of £1. There will be sweets and cakes for sale as well as some competitions.

We hope that we can raise lots of money to help this worthy cause!

Hopscotch Theatre

We have an exciting event planned for Friday 7th February when Hopscotch Theatre will be coming to Crown to perform Burn’s Last Supper for all pupils in P4-7. To help subsidise this performance we are looking for a small donation of £1 per child. Please bring your donation to school on or before February 7th and give it to your class teacher – thank you!
