Wow! What a fun day we have had in P4 celebrating World Book Day. Everyone looked great in their costumes!
In the morning, we had the chance to share part of our favourite book and talk about the character we were dressed up as. Then we listened to Duncan as he shared some exciting news with us about some of his favourite authors. He also read a bit of “Mr Gum” to us which we enjoyed!
In the afternoon, we were making models of our favourite books for a classroom display. We had to pay close attention to detail and be as accurate as possible. We were learning about scaling drawings up and down. We need some more time to finish them so we will post some completed pictures soon.
We were very luck today and also had a visit from James Vincent who plays for Inverness Caley Thistle. He came into class to listen to us talking about our favourite books and some people were asking him questions about football. Leave a comment below and tell me what your favourite part of the day was…
